  • Napa Valley Calligraphy is based out of St. Helena, California. I serve the local Napa Valley area.

  • Yes. Booking minimums:

    -Wedding Services $1,200

    -Place/Escort Cards $375

    -Illustration Design $500

    -Custom Project $500

  • Please aim to book services 4-6 weeks in advance.

  • I currently do not ship large event signage but will ship place/escort cards. Please inquire regarding shipping custom projects.

    I offer delivery at $1 a mile.

  • Yes, should your project have a shorter time frame, I offer rush services at an additional fee. Rush services depend the project type, time-frame, and my availability.

  • I currently do not offer rentals. Sign surfaces offered by Napa Valley Calligraphy include:

    -gold mirrors

    -acrylic

    -chalkboard

    If you have a surface to provide that you would like me to letter on, please include that information in your inquiry.

  • Booking services with Napa Valley Calligraphy begins with an initial inquiry and quote offered by Napa Valley Calligraphy. After an agreement is made, we will sign the contract and your non-refundable 50% deposit (retainer) will confirm services booked. At that time I will begin working on your project.

  • After booking, together we will schedule a virtual, phone, or in-person meeting to pin point your wishes and vision that I will later use to create 2 design mock-ups with 1 complimentary revision. Your pre-approval and revision allow you to further customize your design.

    Once approved, production begins and I get to work on completing your order. The final payment is due on or the day before delivery/pickup.

    Please thoughtfully proofread all names, addresses, wording etc. to avoid additional fees for changes and corrections.

  • From you and your vision! Plus, anything that I can come up with on my own. It is great to reference past work I’ve done and for you to be inspired by other creative works. However, I do not replicate or copy designs not belonging to Napa Valley Calligraphy. This allows us the opportunity to create something sweetly unique and original.

  • No. All rights to designs and artwork done by Napa Valley Calligraphy remain retained and owned by Napa Valley Calligraphy. Alterations, reuse, and/or reproduction are strictly prohibited.

  • Depending on the usage rights, you do not own any rights unless prior agreement is made during the booking process. Usage rights can include a one time use, such as a wedding invitation illustration, up to complete 100% ownership disclosed at the time of booking. Unless otherwise stated and agreed to, all rights to designs and artwork done by Napa Valley Calligraphy remain retained and owned by Napa Valley Calligraphy. Alterations, reuse, and/or reproduction are strictly prohibited.

  • Yes. Most orders will include a 50% non-refundable deposit (retainer) to book. Your final payment is made on, or the day before delivery/pickup. For larger orders your payment plan will be divided into 3-4 payments over the course between booking and project completion.

Pricing

  • Due to the custom design and hand-lettered nature of each project, it can be tricky to determine an exact price. Our initial meeting will provide me with the valuable information I require in putting together your custom quote.

    Through the years I have learned how much time, designing, and preparation go into each project, making it unique to your event. Elements such as sign size, number of words/names, and design style impact the overall project quote.

    Booking Minimums Include:

  • I accept rush orders depending on the project scope and my availability. The shortened working time-frame will determine the added rush fee. Please contact me as soon as possible for rush orders.

    14 days: 30% rush fee

    under 10 day: 50% rush fee

    48 hours: 100% rush fee

    14 hours: 150% rush fee

  • I currently do not ship large event signage but will ship place/escort cards. Please inquire regarding shipping custom projects. You cover all shipping costs.

    I offer delivery at $1 a mile to the local and surrounding area of Napa Valley.

  • Lettering services include 2 design mock-ups and 1 revision.

    Please thoroughly spellcheck all names, address, and wording. I am not responsible for incorrect project information or typos.

    -Additional design mock-ups: $150 ea.

    -Additional revisions, changes, and corrections: $75 ea.

    -A $50 fee is applied to corrections or changes that require additional set-up.

  • Please check your project as soon as you receive it for any mistakes or errors. Errors made by Napa Valley Calligraphy will be fixed at no cost to you.

    Errors made on behalf of the client will incur a $50 set up fee in addition to a minimum $75 correction fee.

  • If you need to cancel your booking please let me know as soon as possible. Due to the custom, handmade nature of each project, cancellations will result in forfeiting your 50% non-refundable deposit (retainer). Scheduling for such handmade projects secures your booking and requires that I turn down other paying projects. Cancellations after project completion will result in 100% project payment. I do not provide refunds and returns of custom, handmade projects are not accepted. Should you find an error or damage to your item(s), please contact me immediately for assistance.
